Rhythm Logic is the main alias used by producer, dj and live p.a. performer Nick Dunlop. With over 6 years experience in electronic music production and a lifetime of fascination with electronic sounds, Nick’s passion for this music runs deep.
Influenced by everything from Skinny Puppy and Front 242 to Chris Liberator and Delta 9, Nick’s production work spans many genres - and often all at the sametime! His sound is most often desribed as hard acid techno or tech-trance, but Nick prefers to avoid getting stuck with a genre label and continues to twist elements of techno, trance, acid, breaks and everything else into pounding sounds for the dancefloor.
Having performed at small underground parties to large full-scale events, Rhythm Logic continues to push the boundaries of live electronic music - constantly evolving his craft of live performance. His live sets are always completely live - never “faking it” while a CD or DAT plays in the background or letting a pre-sequenced set play while twiddling a few knobs…”this shit is live!”
To date only 3 of Nick’s tracks have been officially released (2 as Rhythm Logic and 1 as re:create) but more are planned once he shifts his focus from his live sets back to work in the studio.
